Summary
The Commonwealth Evaluation Maturity Model helps agencies assess and improve their evaluation capability.
Use of the model is voluntary. It supports leadership and a culture of evaluation and encourages using evaluation evidence in policy decisions.
Agencies can use the model to:
- understand their evaluation maturity
- identify ways to strengthen evaluation culture
- integrate evaluation evidence into policy and program management
- build workforce capability.
Senior leadership support is important for successful implementation. Agencies own their results and decide how to share them.
